Breakfast with Albinism Crisis Outreach, Uganda

Finally – we’re in Uganda! We’ve got a tight schedule ahead of us for the next 3 weeks filming with NetHope, DRC and MSF, however it wouldn’t be right to drive from Entebbe to Kampala without passing by to see our friends at Albinism Crisis Outreach (ACO)!

We were welcomed by ACO founder Doreen Nawejje with a freshly prepared breakfast of rolex (chapati, fried eggs and chopped veg ‘roll’), coffee and bananas (which later came in handy on the trip up to Arua – look out for our first vlog to find out why!) Delicious!

Here’s a throwback to International Albinism Awareness Day 2017 filmed by our partners Diversity Matters.

International Albinism Awareness Day is on the 13th June 2018.
