Could you live below the poverty line? This campaign was made to challenge you to try living on £1 for a day to help raise money for some of the world’s poorest people… We want to help make a real difference!

Global Poverty Project approached us, DoGoodFilms, to deliver a conceptual piece on a limited budget. We took on the challenge to create a simple yet effective

As similar to animation, we needed to communicate a fairly complicated concept visually, which is to challenge people about their spending habits and encourage people to try to put themselves in the shoes of the poor who live on less than £1 a day.

Lend us a hand…

For the launch we decided to use a very simple concept of just hands and coins. We did a call out to friends to literally ‘lend us a hand’! The film was shot on white infinity background using a combination of normal and macro lenses that enable us to have extreme detail. We then added a little bit of animation. The result? One of the most challenging tun-arounds however a very satisfying result! The client was happy and commissioned more work from us!
